Qatar Airways has increased services from London to Doha for the festive season.
The airline is operating five daily flights from Heathrow to Hamad International, up from four, from December 2, 2021, to January 31, 2022.
It is part of a wider increase in festive flights by the Qatari carrier linking 18 destinations with it capital “to meet travel demand during the peak winter holiday season”.
This includes Qatar Airways’ inaugural services to Odesa, Ukraine, and Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The airline recently launched direct flights to Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: “Qatar Airways continues to develop its schedule and network by increasing frequencies to many popular destinations across the world while adopting the strictest safety measures both on the ground and in the air, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers and staff.
“This increase will provide even greater choice to our business and leisure passengers.”
